Materials
- Metallic Brush pens: Gold, Silver, and Red (from Pentel Arts)
- Tape'n Glue adhesive runner (from Pentel Arts)
- Cardstock, black and cream, 12"x12"
- Black polka dot, scalloped-edge paper: 12"x12" sheet (from Creative Imaginations)
- Patterned paper (from 7 Gypsies' "Napoli" collection)
- Filigree Monogram letter (from Delish Designs)
- Crushed metallic paper
- Transparency overlay: black "Vin Plaid" (from Hambly)
- Gold-edged, sheer black ribbon
- Paper flowers (from Prima Marketing)
- Buttons (from Foof-a-La)
- Journaling card (from My Mind's Eye)
Instructions: (use photo as a guide, adjusting for your photo size)
- Mount scalloped paper onto cream cardstock. Mat photo with black cardstock.
- Cut large and small hearts from crushed metallic paper.
- Edge hearts with the red metallic brush pen, rubbing it into the paper with your finger and a slightly damp paper towel.
- Place pre-printed transparency over the hearts, adhere and trim to size.
- Cut a 6.5" x 7.5" piece from the script-printed patterned paper and adhere the large heart to one side as shown.
- Attach sheer ribbon to patterned paper, placing it over the heart and wrapping around to the back; tape in place. Add ribbon bow.
- Using both gold and silver metallic brush markers and blending the inks, color the chipboard monogram letter and adhere over large heart.
- Attach patterned paper and matted photo to scalloped paper.
- Adhere paper flowers and button centers.
- Attach journal block and small heart, overlapping slightly.
