Mix colors to get a variety of botanical shades.

Mix right on the end of the WC Crayon with the wet bristles.
This method will give you a very soft look.

Or, draw directly onto the paper and wet to blend the paint.
|
|
Dry paper between layers and build color intensity in layers.
|
|
You can use the watercolor pencil dry to draw details with full strength color.
