Cindy Rippe is an accomplished multimedia designer serving the home décor, giftware, and hobby industries for 30 years.
She is known as a designer, author and teacher of decorative painting, art theory and creative industry business skills. Her inspirational and nature themed designs have been published and licensed worldwide.

Cindy's Blue Island, Illinois, based company, Art in Entertaining, helps creative people use her designs to decorate and plan for special events by adding unique decorative touches to everything from the invitation to the dinnerware.
At the 2007 NAMTA show, Cindy demonstrated a variety of Pentel Arts' products, sharing her knowledge and creative techniques. She has also designed the Mother's Day card now shown on the Pentel Arts Web site, using Aquash watercolor crayons and Metallic Brush pens. Thanks to Cindy's innovative design, the card can be modified to serve as a birthday card or a scrapbook page background.
